Haematology Cancer Services is seeking an enthusiastic and bright individual who enjoys working in a busy, friendly, multi-disciplinary team environment. In this role, you will support in delivering quality service as an Administrator on the Haematology wards across Grafton Way Building and UCLH and main reception in Grafton Way Building.

The role is patient facing and patient experience is at the forefront of our operations. Therefore, excellent customer service skills and a calm can-do attitude are crucial.

This is an exciting opportunity to join UCLH. The successful applicant will be self-motivated and able to work autonomously, performing administrative duties including, but not limited to: admitting patients into our patient information system, EPIC; uploading medical documents and clinical correspondence; collecting inpatient notes; supporting with patient discharges and providing administrative support to all clinical staff.

You will be attentive to the ward's surroundings and responsible for raising minor repair notifications as needed. Additionally, you will provide cross-cover for other ward administrators during times of leave or heavy workload to ensure the service consistently meets the needs of departmental staff.

Strong IT skills are essential for this role. You will be responsible for technical trouble shooting our Teams and video communication systems in the department’s meeting and seminar rooms.

This is a permanent full-time role with a 37.5-hour workweek. The shift patterns for the main reception include an early shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, a late shift from 11:30 am to 7:30 pm, and a regular shift from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Weekend shifts, either Saturday or Sunday, are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
