Ward A6 is a 28 bedded mixed surgical receiving unit. taking direct admissions from A&E, SACRU and clinic settings. We are looking to recruit a dynamic, motivated nursing associate to work as part of our MDT on this very busy fast paced surgical unit.

An understanding of the admission and discharge process relating to patient flow would be advantageous in this clinical area due to the nature of this being a receiving unit.

We cater for a variety of surgical specialties, including general surgery, urology, trauma and orthopedics, plastics, max fax and ENT.

You will be required to work flexibly in a changing environment, to be confident and approachable. We are looking for someone to work with the ward manager to focus on the delivery of high calibre patient cantered care whilst supporting the ongoing development and wellbeing of the team

The post holder will assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of patient care in a caring, compassionate and sensitive manner. Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process.
