The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the vitreo retinal out-patient clinics , providing holistic nursing assessment and care for patients .

The post will require you to provide pre-op assessment for a defined group of patients within the service and will be key to developing this pathway for the future .

This role includes the education , emergency treatment and improving the patients pathways of patients undergoing emergency retinal detachment , raised eye pressures and complex diabetic patients across the service .
