Lead Support Worker - Social Care with Home Group Limited in Lymington (on-site) — permanent, full- or part-time (37.5 hpw) paying £13.21 per hour (£25,838 pa). This hands‑on role offers 34 days’ leave (rising to 39), a health cash plan saving over £1,140 a year, a matching pension up to 7%, life cover (3x basic salary), instant pay access with Stream, and family‑friendly policies including maternity, paternity, adoption, neonatal, fertility and menopause support. You’ll need an Enhanced DBS (paid for), a vehicle insured for business use and a valid driving licence (business mileage reimbursed). Based at our Lymington site with regular travel to Hythe and occasional travel across New Forest, Winchester, Eastleigh and Test Valley. The service operates 9am–7pm weekdays and 10am–6pm at weekends and bank holidays; the rota is an 8‑week cycle (currently two weekends in eight) with a mix of early, middle and late shifts. You’ll lead support planning and coordinate Support Workers to deliver person‑centred care for people with complex needs — balancing day‑to‑day tasks like budgeting, cooking and appointments with safeguarding, admin and multi‑agency working, and helping customers prepare for move‑on into the community. This is ideal for experienced carers, especially those from supported‑housing backgrounds, who can assess referrals, manage caseloads, guide colleagues and stay calm and resilient under pressure.
