Make a real difference as a Learning Disabilities Support Worker at Cygnet Health Care’s Glyn House in Stoke-on-Trent (ST11). You’ll support adults (18+) with autism, learning disabilities and complex behavioural needs, helping with day‑to‑day living, personal care while promoting independence, and supporting attendance at community activities such as cinema, swimming and local shops. The role is hands‑on and emotionally rewarding: you will encourage life‑skills development, keep accurate wellbeing records and provide both physical and emotional support within a close‑knit team committed to person‑centred care.

This permanent, full‑time position is 42 hours per week (07:45–20:00, including alternate weekends) and pays from £26,208 to £27,248 a year (starting at £12.60 rising to £13.10 per hour). It’s ideal for compassionate carers — particularly women seeking a supportive, team‑led environment — who have experience with adults with autism or learning disabilities, strong communication skills and a flexible approach to shifts and community activities.
