Job description
Based at South Gloucestershire & Stroud College’s Stroud campus, the Learning Support Worker (The CHASE) is a permanent, term‑time role supporting a Specialist SEND provision for 16–24 year‑olds. Working 32.5 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, the post is pro rata (FTE up to £24,312; actual salary up to £18,057) and involves 1:1 and small‑group support to develop independence, employability and supported‑living skills. You will deliver person‑centred support to meet EHCP outcomes across communication and interaction, cognition and learning, social, emotional and mental health, sensory/physical and self‑care. Day‑to‑day duties include in‑class and community support, recording progress, liaising with curriculum staff and families, and contributing to a highly differentiated learning environment. Please note the role is subject to safeguarding checks and an enhanced DBS; applications close on 24 November 2025.
