Job description
Based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead (NE9), the Legal Services Administrator provides confidential, day-to-day administrative support to the Trust’s Legal Services team. This permanent, full‑time Agenda for Change Band 3 role (salary £24,937–£26,598) involves managing the team inbox and telephone queries, maintaining case files and spreadsheets, data entry, and preparing correspondence and records for disclosure to coroners, solicitors and Trust staff. You will help monitor duty of candour compliance and take part in ongoing team training. The post suits an organised, IT‑confident person with GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent), strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word), excellent time‑management and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team; NHS or legal/medical administration experience and knowledge of GDPR are desirable. The role is subject to a DBS check, and skilled worker sponsorship applications will be considered.
