At the heart of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, the Linen Services Assistant role offers an engaging opportunity for proactive and dedicated individuals. You'll thrive in a collaborative production line environment, where your contribution plays a crucial part in maintaining the highest standards. Your tasks will span from handling and sorting soiled linen to folding and packing clean linen, ensuring that everything meets the rigorous decontamination standards set by HTM01-04. Based across either the City or QMC Campus, you’ll work 37.5 hours a week with shifts typically falling between 06:00 to 14:00, including some bank holidays and occasional weekends. Your expertise in utilising laundry equipment, monitoring stock levels, and conducting quality checks will ensure a seamless service for our users. You’ll be the go-to person for problem-solving, be it equipment faults or stock issues, and will embody flexibility, adapting to the dynamic needs of our service.
