Live-in support worker role caring for a bright, independent young woman with a spinal cord injury who is studying Computer Science at the University of Liverpool. This permanent, long-term position is based between Prestbury and Liverpool (term-time) with a 1 week on / 1 week off rota and a flexible start. You will provide respectful, dignified personal care and support with moving and handling, drive an adapted vehicle between Liverpool and Prestbury (full UK driving licence essential), help with light domestic tasks and meal preparation (an interest in or willingness to learn Nigerian cooking is a bonus), and join the client on occasional holidays abroad. The client values independence, social life and travel, so you’ll become a trusted, steady presence in both her university life and home setting.

This role is specifically for a female support worker (Genuine Occupational Requirement) and suits someone warm, reliable and practical who wants close one-to-one work and experience in specialist care.
