Job description
Become an essential member of the dynamic team at Leeds Children's Hospital, part of Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust, one of Europe's largest teaching trusts. We are seeking a passionate Locum Consultant in General Paediatrics for a six-month tenure, offering both full and part-time opportunities. You'll be at the cutting edge of paediatric care, based at the renowned Leeds General Infirmary. Your role will encompass both outpatient clinics and inpatient care, supporting junior doctors and contributing to specialist multi-disciplinary meetings. Bridging the gap between general paediatrics and numerous sub-specialties, you'll liaise with other consultant colleagues, reinforcing robust healthcare pathways across the hospital.
Ideal candidates will bring exceptional skills in General Paediatrics, holding accreditation from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health or equivalent, and should be prepared to dive into ongoing research and teaching initiatives. With our values centred on patient care, collaboration, fairness, accountability, and empowerment, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is committed to being the best choice for healthcare professionals looking to make a real difference.
