Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is offering a 6-month fixed-term position for a locum consultant ophthalmologist with a specialized focus on oculoplastics at Abergele Eye Unit. The role is full-time, comprising ten sessions per week, divided into 8 Direct Clinical Care (DCC) sessions and 2 Supporting Professional Activities (SPA) sessions. Responsibilities will include conducting dedicated oculoplastics outpatient clinics and theatre sessions, with senior anaesthetic cover provided during procedures. Additional support includes dedicated administrative assistance, mentoring for newly appointed consultants, and opportunities for professional development, teaching, and research.

Candidates can expect annual leave and study leave in line with the Welsh Consultant contract.
