An exciting 12‑month, 10 PA locum Consultant role in Vascular Surgery with Leeds Teaching Hospitals, based across St James’s University Hospital (LS9 7TF) and Leeds General Infirmary (LS1 3EX). The post has a special interest in diabetic limb salvage and sits within a large, multidisciplinary Leeds Vascular Institute: 13 consultant surgeons, vascular nurse specialists, 24/7 vascular radiology, a hybrid theatre and a dedicated 27‑bed vascular ward. Duties include elective and emergency vascular care, contribution to diabetic limb salvage and CLTI MDTs and clinics, and participation in a 1:10 consultant first on‑call rota (with an additional 1:10 weekend second on‑call). The salary band is £109,725–£145,478 pa plus out‑of‑hours pay. Experience in resuscitative trauma surgery is desirable but the unit offers in‑house training and mentorship where needed.
