Based at Cygnet House in Ware (SE Hertfordshire), this locum Specialty Doctor post sits within the Single East Community Rapid Home Treatment Team (SECRHTT) supporting three community mental health teams. You will carry out diagnostic assessments, risk formulation and treatment for people with severe, complex and high‑risk psychiatric conditions; undertake outpatient clinics, home visits and multidisciplinary case discussions; prescribe under consultant supervision; and keep accurate records and paperwork. The role is full‑time, fixed‑term for 12 months, on the Hospital Medical and Dental pay scale (£61,542–£99,216 pa pro rata). Essential requirements include MB BS (or equivalent), full GMC registration with a licence to practise, at least four years’ postgraduate training with a minimum of two years’ psychiatry experience. A DBS check is required; skilled worker sponsorship will be considered where applicable.
