Job description
Macmillan Colorectal Nurse at Northampton General Hospital (University Hospitals of Northamptonshire, Billing Road, NN1 5BD). This Band 6, part‑time permanent post (salary £38,682–£46,580 pro rata) puts you at the heart of colorectal cancer care, coordinating patient pathways from referral to oncology, delivering Holistic Needs Assessments and personalised care planning, and managing a caseload across outpatient and inpatient settings. You will respond to electronic alerts for emergency admissions, provide symptom management and Level 2 psychological support, act as a main point of contact for patients and carers, liaise with the multidisciplinary team and Macmillan Specialist services, and support end‑of‑treatment summaries and self‑management resources.
