The role of Maintenance Craftsperson (Electrical) at Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust involves joining a multi-disciplinary Estates Team focused on maintaining and managing the Trust's buildings and engineering services in the Durham and Darlington area. Candidates must have completed a recognized apprenticeship with an electrical background, as they will be responsible for providing efficient engineering maintenance services, executing installation and improvement works, and assisting other trades as needed. The position is primarily based at Auckland Park Hospital, with potential travel to other Trust sites, and requires compliance with health and safety standards while participating in out-of-hours on-call duties.

Successful applicants will need to ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and promote a positive image of the Estates Department while supporting individuals with mental health conditions and/or learning disabilities. Independent travel across the locality is essential, and candidates must have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.
