Job description
As a Maintenance Electrician with South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust you'll work as part of a multi‑tasking estates team based at Springfield University Hospital (SW17 0YF), delivering safe, efficient electrical maintenance across Trust-owned, leased and rented properties. The role covers fault-finding from complex electrical drawings, work with Building Management Systems, liaising with contractors on minor projects, keeping stores and equipment at the right levels and communicating effectively with ward staff and supervisors to provide a customer-focused service. This permanent, full-time Band 4 post pays £33,094–£36,195 (inclusive of inner London HCAS) and requires City & Guilds 17th edition, NVQ Level 3 or an electrical apprenticeship, a driving licence and participation in an on-call rota; a DBS check will be required and skilled-worker sponsorship applications are considered.
