Male Bank Buddy role with ILS Case Management in Hackney supporting Harry, a sociable 23‑year‑old who enjoys football, swimming, cinema, trains and iPad games. You’ll spend focused time building confidence and independence — helping with trips out, shopping, using public transport and some self‑care — while being alert to Harry’s learning difficulties and occasional mild seizures (he recovers quickly with a little support). This part‑time, on‑site permanent role typically covers 10:00–17:00 shifts (a key Tuesday shift is 10:00–17:00) plus additional bank hours to cover absences; pay is £17.00/hr weekdays, £18.00/hr weekends and double pay for bank holidays. Start is ASAP after pre‑employment checks; benefits include a free DBS, induction and Care Certificate training, 5.6 weeks’ annual leave pro rata and ongoing supervision from a Case Manager, Occupational Therapist and HR team. Right to work in the UK and satisfactory references are required; where gender is specified it is a genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010.

This opportunity suits compassionate carers who enjoy building one‑to‑one relationships, want hands‑on experience supporting independence and value clear team support and training. ILS Case Management emphasises supportive, client‑centred care delivered with integrity and high standards — ideal if you prefer meaningful, community‑based work rather than shift‑factory routines.
