Job description
Play a pivotal role in coordinating care across the local Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) for Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust. As MDT Support Co‑ordinator you will act as the single point of access for referrals, manage diaries and agendas, organise and administer MDT meetings, take comprehensive minutes and follow up actions to ensure timely care. You’ll make sure care plans, diagnostic results and correspondence are available to the team, liaise with partners across community and hospital services, and support Hospital and Specialist MDTs when needed. This role brings together administration and care coordination to improve outcomes and reduce pressure on GP practices.
This permanent, full‑time Band 4 position (salary £27,485–£30,162) is based at Blakenall Village Centre, Walsall WS3, within an integrated Trust offering modern facilities at Walsall Manor. It suits organised, confident administrators with NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent, ECDL or IT qualification, NHS/primary care experience and a good knowledge of patient administration systems and data protection. A DBS check is required and skilled worker sponsorship applications will be considered. If you’re a communicator who enjoys practical, team‑based problem solving and making a direct difference to patients’ lives, find this vacancy on jobsincare.com and click the Apply Now button to apply.
