iPP Analytics Limited, based in Basildon (SS14), is recruiting a Medical Laboratory Assistant to support Pathology First — the SYNLAB and Mid & South Essex NHS Foundation Trust partnership serving Basildon, Southend and more than 200 GP practices. Working across three sites (two in Basildon and one in Southend), you will work in modern, purpose‑built laboratories handling biological samples safely, registering specimens on the WinPath enterprise laboratory IT system and helping ensure tests are processed and reported to clinicians on time. The role is permanent, full‑time (salary £24,320–£24,465), on a full shift rotation including nights and some weekends, with shifts currently including 08:00–16:00, 10:00–18:00, 11:00–19:00 and 12:00–20:00. Clear procedures, up‑to‑date equipment and an integrated IT environment make the day‑to‑day work efficient and professionally satisfying.
