At Sett Valley Medical Centre, working across New Mills (SK22 4BP) and Hayfield (SK22 2EP), this Medical Receptionist role is the first point of contact for around 10,000 patients. You will deliver high-quality reception and administrative support: managing appointments, handling patient enquiries, processing correspondence and using EMIS Web in a paper-light practice. The post requires someone confident, organised, computer literate and calm under pressure, with experience in a busy public reception environment. This permanent role is for 30 hours a week, split between mornings and afternoons Monday–Friday (start as early as 07:45; finish up to 18:30, or 20:00 on Wednesdays), with flexibility to cover leave; a DBS check is required and the hourly pay is £12.28.
