Based at St Thomas' Hospital (SE1 7EH) with South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, this Mental Health Liaison Nurse role involves carrying out biopsychosocial assessments, formulating robust risk-management and discharge plans, and supporting adults needing acute mental health care across the Emergency Department, medical and surgical wards and the Crisis Assessment Unit. You will work closely with the Psychiatric Nurse in Charge and wider multi‑disciplinary teams to coordinate person‑centred care, involve carers and families in planning, contribute to frequent‑attender frameworks and pan‑London initiatives, and lead on risk assessment and teaching for junior staff. The post is Band 6 (£46,419–£55,046 pa), permanent, with full‑, part‑time and flexible options; applicants must hold UK professional registration and the role is subject to DBS checks. Skilled worker sponsorship is considered.
