Based at the Horwich Health and Wellbeing Hub (Bolton BL6 5PY), this Mental Health Practitioner role with Greater Manchester Mental Health NHSFT sits in an expanding Mental Health Support Team (MHST) working in schools and further education. You will use low‑intensity, evidence‑based CBT to assess and treat children and young people, manage risk, deliver time‑limited individual and group interventions, offer consultation to education colleagues and families/carers, record routine outcome measures and provide clinical supervision to Education Mental Health Practitioners. The post suits registered clinicians (RMN, Social Worker or equivalent) with recognisable postgraduate or accreditable qualifications (CBT, EMHP, CYWP), EMHP supervisor training and CAMHS experience. This permanent Band 6, full‑time post pays £38,682–£46,580 per year (pro rata), requires a DBS and UK professional registration; sponsorship is considered. Closing date: 13 October 2025.

You will be joining a large Trust that supports staff development and service growth as MHSTs expand across Bolton — an opportunity to shape a new team and influence whole‑school approaches to mental wellbeing. The role comes with substantial enhancements for unsocial hours (30% evenings and Saturdays, 60% Sundays and bank holidays), a generous annual leave package (27 days rising to 29 and 33), an excellent pension, cycle‑to‑work and salary‑sacrifice car schemes, a staff wellbeing programme and Blue Light discounts.
