Job description
Support young people aged 16–30 in a warm, homely five‑bed Edwardian residential service in Liversedge, West Yorkshire (WF15 7DG). This full‑time, permanent Mental Health Support Worker role (37.5 hours/week) offers a salary of £24,570–£25,662 depending on experience and requires a Full UK manual driving licence (automatic licences cannot be accepted) as you’ll be expected to drive the service car. You’ll work shifts including weekends and bank holidays, helping residents with daily life skills, education, household tasks, medication administration and online care records. The role involves supporting young people with complex mental health needs — including self‑harm, eating difficulties and personality disorder — helping them build independence for transition into adult life and joining in community activities, trips and in‑house social evenings. Full training, induction and DBS checks are provided, with ongoing mentoring from a friendly residential and clinical team.
