The role of Women's Health Nurse Associate at Barrow Together PCN involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care in the areas of sexual, reproductive, and HIV health. The appointed Nurse Associate will support the nursing team, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or healthcare professional, and will have the opportunity to interact directly with patients. Key responsibilities include executing clinical tasks, implementing care plans, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring safe and compassionate patient care, all while working primarily during out-of-hours, including evenings and weekends.

The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of women's health and sexually transmitted infections and be prepared to undertake various clinical procedures such as HIV testing, specimen management, and administering vaccines. This position also entails contributing to care planning, education of patients and families on related health issues, and participating in continuous personal development within the clinical team, ensuring adherence to NHS values and maintaining a supportive environment for both patients and staff.
