Leeds Teaching Hospitals is offering an unmatched opportunity for a dedicated and dynamic Band 7 Nurse Specialist in the Diabetes Centre. Within this coveted 12-month role, you'll immerse yourself in the core of Emergency and Specialty Medicine, stepping into a critical position that champions high-quality diabetes care. As an integral part of our seasoned multi-disciplinary team, you'll bring your expertise to both inpatient and outpatient services, driving improvements and ensuring excellence in patient journeys citywide. With a focus on clinical leadership, you will play a vital role in setting standards of care, developing robust care programmes, and actively contributing to the Trust’s strategic direction. This is perfect for an individual eager to influence change, with prior experience at Band 6 or higher and a thorough grasp of diabetes management including insulin pumps and emerging technologies.
