Community Nursery Nurse (Health visiting Team) - Band 4 - Wandsworth Health VisitingAre you highly motivated, flexible and a good team player? Do you want to work in an organisation rated as 'good' by the CQC? We are looking for staff to compliment/support the 0-19 (Health Visiting Services) in Central London Community Health Care NHS Trust (CLCH)You will work as part of the clinical team supporting the Health Visiting Service with the 0-5 caseloads and their families as delegated by the health visitor. You will participate in the delivery of The Healthy Child Programme and be expected to work in various community settings including the homes of families.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be a key member of the 0-19 team, with the responsibility for providing an efficient and high quality clinical support within the health visiting team.You will assist in or carry out, clinical interventions as part of the Healthy Child programme, as delegated by the Health Visitor.To advise parents on positive parenting skills including understanding and managing child behaviour, Introduction of Solid Food and nutrition, play and stimulation, speech and language development, sleep management and toilet training, ensuring that advice is evidence based to facilitate school readiness.You will need to be someone who can use your initiative and be attentive to detail. You should be able to work autonomously but also be part of a team. If you are quality focused, able to promote collaborative working; to improve, inform and support the 0-5 quality initiatives, then this role is for you.
