Make a measurable difference as an Occupational Therapist Assistant at Thornford Park, a 141‑bed Elysium Healthcare hospital set in 21 acres of Berkshire countryside (Crookham Hill, Thatcham, RG19). Working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist you’ll support the delivery of structured individual and group activities for people with complex mental health needs, personality disorders, learning disabilities and autism, including those with forensic histories. Day‑to‑day duties include building one‑to‑one rapport to encourage participation, contributing to assessment, monitoring and modification of therapeutic programmes, keeping accurate records and working closely within a multidisciplinary team across medium and low secure units, PICU and rehabilitation flats. This permanent, full‑time role offers a salary of £26,131 and is open to candidates with GCSEs/NVQ2 and experience in mental health; a DBS check will be required.
