Job description
Step into a hands-on Band 5 Occupational Therapist post with Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust at Guild Lodge Secure Services, Preston PR3 2JH. You’ll work across medium- and low-secure inpatient areas, delivering routine OT interventions that restore, maintain and create meaningful occupation across self-care, productivity and leisure. The service offers superb, purpose-built facilities (Therapeutic Resources Centre, gym and Tarnbrook Vocational Therapy Units) and plentiful opportunity to run group and one-to-one interventions using MOHO, develop clinical risk assessment and management skills, and contribute within a multi‑disciplinary team for a challenging mixed‑gender adult caseload.
This role suits newly qualified or developing therapists who hold a recognised OT qualification and current HCPC registration; a DBS check and UK professional registration are required. Expect structured supervision, a supportive and approachable OT team, active in‑house CPD, preceptorship and the chance to supervise students and support staff as you grow.
