Job description
Based at Southfield, Tatchbury Mount in Southampton (SO40), this part‑time Occupational Therapy Assistant role with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust supports rehabilitation on two low‑secure wards for men and women aged 18–65. You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist using activity‑based assessment to help service users build practical skills and reach individual goals, while contributing to a multi‑disciplinary team that prioritises therapeutic relationships, safety and step‑by‑step recovery. The post is permanent, Band 3 (£24,937–£26,598 plus forensic lead enhancement), and subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check; flexible working options are welcomed and a thorough induction, ongoing training and monthly supervision are provided to support wellbeing and resilience in this challenging but rewarding setting.
