Support recovery and rehabilitation in secure mental health services as an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Brockfield House, Wickford (SS11) with Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. You will work within a multi‑disciplinary team across seven wards (five medium secure, two low secure) supporting people recovering from severe and enduring mental illness. The role involves delivering and implementing Occupational Therapy programmes under senior direction: facilitating group activities, carrying out one‑to‑one interventions, observing and recording patients’ responses and progress, feeding back at ward rounds, and recognising and reporting any safeguarding or risk concerns. This permanent, full‑time Band 3 post pays £24,937–£26,598 per annum and may provide a route into an OT apprenticeship with potential to train as a qualified Occupational Therapist. A Disclosure and Barring Service check is required.
