Occupational Therapy Clinical Support Worker Job details Posting date: 28 October 2025 Salary: £24,937.00 to £26,598.00 per year Additional salary information: £24937.00 - £26598.00 a year Hours: Full time Closing date: 11 November 2025 Location: Worthing, BN11 2ET Company: NHS Jobs Job type: Permanent Job reference: C9354-25-1204 Apply for this job Summary - Contribute to occupational therapy assessments e.g. Activity of Daily Living Assessments (ADL) and treatment plans under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist. - Under supervision of an Occupational Therapist, provide a range of activities, instructing and guiding clients with more complex needs to support them in achieving identified occupational therapy goals, with some supervision. - To carry out community/home visits as directed by an Occupational Therapist and report on the outcome. - To contribute to the generic tasks of the team as directed by a registered occupational therapist. - To actively promote service user driven O.T interventions within a recovery approach. Essential Criteria Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good IT and general administration abilities. Creativity and dynamism in developing and delivering group activities. Ability to build partnerships with community services to support service users recovery. A clear understanding of mental health recovery principles. Experience working with individuals with mental health problems is preferred. Self-motivation and a willingness to learn are essential. A valid UK driving licence and willingness to use the unit vehicle.
