Make a tangible difference to people living with long‑term neurological conditions as an Occupational Therapy Technician with Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, based in Newport (NP20). Working with the Long‑Term Neurological Conditions Team you will hold a delegated community caseload and deliver assessments and interventions in people’s homes and clinic settings to support independence, self‑management and compensatory strategies for conditions such as MND, MS and Parkinson’s. The role involves practical, technical and administrative tasks delegated by supervising occupational therapists, with opportunities to build specialist skills in posture and seating, manage your own time and help pilot new ideas to improve local services.

This permanent, part‑time post is Band 4 (Agenda for Change) with a salary of £27,898–£30,615 pro rata and includes paid training, career development pathways, occupational health support and flexible working to help balance work and caring responsibilities.
