Step into a proactive Health & Safety Officer role at St Luke’s Hospice in Sheffield (S11 9NE), working full-time on a six‑month fixed‑term contract to protect staff, volunteers, patients and visitors. You will support the Head of Risk & Compliance across the hospice, retail shops and distribution centre, carrying out risk assessments, audits and inspections, reviewing accidents and near misses, and supporting fire safety, DSE and PEEPs. The post involves delivering training, updating policies and producing trend-led recommendations — a hands‑on position where your NEBOSH qualification and practical H&S experience will directly shape safer working practice. A driving licence is essential and this role requires travel between sites; the post is subject to a DBS check and salary will reflect experience.
