Make a real difference to older adults in hospital who are living with dementia or other mental health needs. This Band 3 Older Adult Psychiatric Liaison Support Worker role is part of the Responsive Hospital Support Team, working across Newport sites (St Woolos, Nevill Hall and Royal Gwent) to deliver person-centred care and meaningful activities for patients aged 65+. You’ll work under the direction of senior practitioners, supporting people with both organic and functional diagnoses in a general hospital setting. The post is permanent, part-time, pays £25,313–£26,999 (AfC Band 3), has set shift patterns (08:00–16:00 / 12:00–20:00 weekdays; 09:00–17:00 at weekends), requires a DBS check and may involve travelling between sites.
