Play a central role in keeping Ryeland Surgery running smoothly as the Operations Support Manager – General Practice, advertised by Taurus Healthcare Ltd for the Leominster HR6 practice. This hands-on role blends HR administration with operational coordination: you’ll support recruitment, onboarding, probation and payroll preparation, maintain electronic HR records, manage the Management Team diary, lead weekly non-clinical huddles and provide cover for reception, patient registrations and telephone queue-busting when needed. Confidentiality, attention to detail and strong people skills are essential; full training is provided so experience in health isn’t required, and a DBS check will be needed.
This permanent, on-site role offers a supportive NHS practice environment that values empathy and work-life balance — a 50/50 job-share is welcome for the right candidates. Hours are Monday–Thursday 10:30–18:30 and Friday 07:45–15:45, pay is £14.00–£15.33 per hour depending on experience, and interviews are expected on 3 December 2025 (closing date 23 November 2025). If you’re organised, calm under pressure and enjoy helping both patients and colleagues, click the Apply Now button to apply via jobsincare.com and take the next step in a rewarding operational care role.

More about the NHS
The National Health Service (NHS) is a cornerstone of healthcare in the United Kingdom, established in 1948 with the simple yet profound principle of providing healthcare to all citizens, free at the point of use. This revolutionary system aimed to ensure that access to medical services would not depend on an individual’s financial situation, a concept that has since become fundamental to British societal values.
