Make a meaningful difference to children and foster families as a part-time Social Worker (24 hours per week) within Cambridgeshire County Council’s Fostering Support Team, based in Huntingdon PE29 3AD. This permanent post pays £39,548–£42,248 and is for a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England. The role blends office and home working, requires countywide travel and an Enhanced DBS, and centres on providing regular supervision and practical support to foster carers, capturing children’s voices, producing clear reports for panels, supporting therapeutic parenting, maintaining compliance with Fostering Regulations, and contributing to recruitment and service development.
