As a Peer Assistant Practitioner with Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust you’ll use your own lived experience of Early Intervention in Psychosis to support people aged 14–65 through recovery. Working from Swanswell Point in Coventry (CV1), you’ll deliver one-to-one and group occupational therapy interventions alongside OTs, support care coordinators and the wider MDT to meet NICE‑approved standards, and contribute a lived‑experience perspective to service development and recruitment. The role requires completed Level 3 PSW training (or equivalent), the Care Certificate, at least 12 months’ PSW experience, GCSE/Functional Skills Maths and English (A–C / 4–9) and the ability to supervise band 3 PSWs across the three EI teams. You’ll be supported by regular clinical supervision and team managers and will have chances to co‑create and deliver courses with the Recovery and Wellbeing Academy, plus formal supervision responsibilities for junior peer staff. CWPT offers generous annual leave that increases with service, wide learning and development pathways (apprenticeships, distance learning, coaching), salary sacrifice schemes, staff discount and wellbeing provision including in‑house counselling and employee networks.
