Based at York Medical Group in Shipton (32 Clifton, York YO30 6AE), this full‑time permanent Pharmacy Clerk role pays £12.81 per hour and supports the pharmacy team to ensure the safe, accurate and timely supply of prescriptions. Working under the supervision of the pharmacist and pharmacy technician you will process repeat medication requests, issue prescriptions within agreed clinical protocols, manage Klinik forms and ledgers, monitor high‑risk drugs and MHRA alerts, and act as a clear point of contact for patients and colleagues with medication queries. The role also includes liaising with primary and secondary care, supporting prescribing audits and data analysis in line with NICE and local commissioning guidance, plus project work and general administrative duties — all carried out in person at the York site.
