A flexible approach to the above duties is required, together with good communication and interpersonal skills, initiative and the ability to work as part of a team. You will have to undertake NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services. At the heart of everything we do are our core values: Include, Respect, and Improve. Duties include dispensing and labelling prescriptions for patients, working in the dispensary serving patients and staff on pharmacy reception and general dispensary administration. The successful candidate will book in prescriptions and monitor the flow of work. You will need to monitor room temperature in the dispensary, CD room and trial room. The post holder will be responsible for checking dispensed items in the delivery boxes. You will be required to sort returned drugs, separating items to be credited and those to be discarded, according to procedure. You will also be trained to label and dispense medicinal products in accordance with procedure.
