As a Band 4 Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Technician in Musculoskeletal Outpatients at North Bristol NHS Trust (BS10), you will work under the supervision of a registered physiotherapist to deliver hands-on rehabilitation and support recovery after orthopaedic surgery and for a wide range of MSK conditions. Day-to-day you’ll run or assist group exercise and self‑management sessions, follow treatment protocols, monitor and progress patient plans with clinical guidance, and balance direct patient care with administrative duties such as booking appointments and co‑ordinating patient groups. The role suits someone with NHS or social care experience (sports/exercise rehabilitation desirable), strong communication and IT skills, and a willingness to learn — it’s a practical, people-focused post that lets caring, organised candidates make a visible difference to patients’ independence and confidence. There is a weekend rota commitment of one weekend day every four weeks, plus one weekend and one weekday bank holiday per year; any limited flexibility around hours will be discussed at interview.

This permanent, full‑time Band 4 post (salary £24,071–£29,114 pro‑rata) offers the chance to join a large, multidisciplinary team within a major regional centre, with on‑the‑job training, clear supervision and opportunities to develop clinical and administrative skills. North Bristol NHS Trust values diversity and welcomes applicants from varied backgrounds; a DBS check is required and skilled worker sponsorship will be considered where appropriate.
