Work as a GP Practice Healthcare Assistant at Staithes Surgery in Saltburn-by-the-sea (TS13), supporting a small coastal practice of around 3,100 patients as part of the Whitby Coast and Moors Primary Care Network. This patient-facing post runs clinical sessions during core hours (Monday–Friday, 08:00–18:00) on a part-time, permanent basis and involves chronic disease monitoring, NHS health checks, vaccinations and injections under direction, ECGs, wound care and suture/staple removal, venepuncture and sample processing, BP and BMI checks, chaperone duties and stock and infection-control responsibilities. You will work closely with GPs, the practice nurse, care coordinator and pharmacist, use SystmOne for administration tasks and help keep treatment rooms and vaccine fridges in line with guidance.

This role suits a compassionate, organised HCA with a Level 3 or 4 healthcare qualification and phlebotomy certification (DBS and occupational health clearance required); primary care experience and knowledge of QOF are desirable.
