We are looking for dedicated Practice Nurses to bring their knowledge and enthusiasm to join our team at Rosedean Hourse Surgery.

What We are Looking For: The ideal candidate will have experience managing patients with a variety of long-term health conditions, demonstrate adaptability to change, and be confident working autonomously. They should be eager to work within non-traditional care systems and committed to continuous learning and skill development. A willingness to undertake role-relevant training and support the wider nursing team is essential. You will bring a passion for empowering patients to live healthier lives, using your expertise in health prevention, screening, and the early management of long-term conditions.
About us
Practice Nurse Essential Responsibilities will involve:
- Venepuncture
- Blood pressure
- ECG
- Height/Weight/BMI
- Health Promotion
- Childhood and Adult Immunisations
- Wound Care
- Contraception
- Cervical Screening
- Spirometry
- Long-term condition management such as Diabetes, COPD, Asthma
- Some experience of long-term condition management and cervical screening is essential.
The successful candidate must:
- Registered with the NMC
- Degree in Nursing
- Substantial Practice Nurse experience
- Evidence of ongoing CPD
- Minimum of 1 Long Term Condition diploma
- Have knowledge of patients with long term conditions
- Be familiar with Patient Group Directions (PGDs) and associated policy
- Produce accurate, contemporaneous and complete records, consistent with legislation, policies and procedures.
