This Practice Nurse (Spirometry) role with ELM Alliance LTD is based at Hirsel Medical Centre, North Ormesby, Middlesbrough (TS3 6AL). It’s a hands-on primary care post for an experienced nurse who will lead respiratory and long-term condition care, delivering spirometry and FeNO testing, running chronic disease and immunisation clinics (including flu, COVID, shingles and childhood programmes), undertaking diagnostics such as ECG, cytology and phlebotomy, and managing a caseload. The post-holder will also line-manage and develop an HCA, contribute to QOF, CQC and enhanced services, and take a lead on infection control, stock and equipment management. Essential requirements are a Nursing diploma or degree, current NMC registration, a minimum of three years’ autonomous experience in primary care, spirometry competence and a full UK driving licence; postgraduate respiratory or spirometry accreditation and non-medical prescribing are desirable.
