We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Sudbury, a category D Prison, located in Ashbourne in East Midlands.
HMP Sudbury is a adult male prison with a population of 661.
You will be based in a team of 10 within the Primary Care Team and will be based in the main healthcare department within HMP Sudbury,Hours
This role is part time 22.5 hours per week Monday - Sunday:- Monday - Friday - 7.30am - 6pm (8pm finish on a Thursday)
- Saturday Sunday - 7.30am - 5pm
- There is an expectation to work 1 in 3 weekends.
Salary
Youll receive an annual salary is between £34000 - £38000 per annum FTE which will be pro rota - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
As a Primary Care Nurse your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions
- Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening
- Use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse led clinics to your patient group whilst being supported by a multi-disciplinary team.
