The Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust is seeking a motivated and experienced senior nurse for the role of Band 7 Practice Development Nurse within the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) at Midland Metropolitan University Hospital. This position involves planning and coordinating educational programs and clinical skills training for staff, focusing on recruitment, retention, and the enhancement of clinical quality and governance standards. The successful candidate will also be responsible for assessing the educational needs of nursing and non-medical staff, implementing strategies to meet these needs, and leading a small team in supporting staff wellbeing and professional development.

As an expert practitioner, the Practice Development Nurse will play a crucial role in leading the nursing team and managing the training budget within Acute Medicine.
