The role of Project Lead at Willerby Hill with Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust involves providing professional leadership and expertise in project delivery and service transformation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing project support systems, which require strong planning, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. They will assist in the planning, development, and implementation of projects, lead meetings, monitor progress, ensure timelines are met, and communicate complex information effectively to various stakeholders.
Additionally, the Project Lead will generate progress reports for the Service Planning and Transformation Group, collaborate with senior managers, and support the development of less experienced staff in project management and communication skills. The role demands a high level of interpersonal skills, as the candidate will engage with staff, external agencies, and other partners while upholding customer care standards in the Trust.

We are looking for an individual who can offer a high standard of evidence based professional leadership, knowledge, and experience of supporting project delivery and service transformation.
Who can develop project support systems which require a high level of planning, negotiating, analytical and communication skills.
Able to support the planning, development and implementation of projects or service transformation schemes as a member of the team, supported by a project manager within autonomy agreed based on the nature and scope of the specific project.
- To assist the project sponsor in the overall project design and implementation phases.
- To arrange and lead relevant meetings at various stages throughout the project, both internally and the wider Integrated Care System where required.
- To monitor project progress ensuring timelines are met and risks and mitigating actions identified and escalated where appropriate.
- To lead and present complex, sensitive and challenging professional communication processes that may impact on staff, the team, the organisation, partner agencies, and carers, where there are barriers to understanding.
- To demonstrate a sound level of inter-personal skills when providing information of a non-clinical nature to staff, carers, public/external agencies, maintaining the Trust standards of customer care.
- In conjunction with service leads generate monthly reports, or more frequent if required, to provide progress updates to the Service Planning and Transformation Group.
- To regularly liaise with senior managers on performance
- To support less experienced staff in the development of their project management and communication skills.
