SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE
Job description
South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Project Support Officer based at Trust Headquarters in Exeter (EX2) on a hybrid basis, with at least one day a week in the office and occasional travel between sites. You will provide vital administrative and coordination support to deliver the Trust’s Annual Plan: supporting project managers with processes, tracking and reporting project performance, servicing programme boards and meetings, managing documentation and quality assurance (action logs, risk/issues and lessons-learned registers), and helping to prepare executive-level papers and slide decks. The role suits an organised, proactive candidate with strong MS Office skills, an analytical eye for quality, and previous administrative experience in the NHS or public sector; a degree or equivalent and a full driving licence (max six penalty points) are required, and project management training is desirable. The postholder will act as a first point of contact for end users, help with benefits realisation and performance improvement, and support senior colleagues developing the Trust’s strategy and forward planning.
This permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours) is advertised at Agenda for Change Band 5, with a salary range of £31,049–£37,796 per annum and the NHS benefits that many carers and women value: generous holiday entitlement, pension, pay enhancements for unsocial hours and overtime, career development and progression, plus schemes such as car leasing, cycle-to-work and staff discounts. You’ll be working for an organisation that covers one of the largest ambulance regions in England, with a supportive, values-driven culture and clear routes for professional development. A DBS check is required and applications from those needing Skilled Worker sponsorship will be considered.
