Step into a Band 6 QIS Neonatal Nurse post at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust, based at Harrogate District Hospital (HG2 7SX). You’ll work in a seven‑cot Level 1 Special Care Baby Unit – the first in the country to achieve Baby Friendly Initiative Gold – providing expert neonatal assessment, stabilisation and hands‑on care, while planning, evaluating and maintaining high standards on the unit. The role includes regular charge duties, mentoring junior and student staff, and contributing to governance, risk management and resource planning. Essential requirements are current NMC registration and a QIS in Neonatal; desirable skills include NALS, safeguarding and teaching qualifications. This is a fixed‑term six‑month post, Band 6 (£38,682–£46,580 pro rata), with both full‑ and part‑time options; DBS checks are required and skilled‑worker sponsorship applications will be considered.
