Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is keen to welcome a passionate and diligent Radiographer to bring their skills to our dynamic Radiology team in Chertsey. This role is a splendid opportunity for newly qualified radiographers or those eager to broaden their expertise in a bustling A&E department. With a commitment to maintaining and exceeding high standards of radiographic imaging, you'll be an integral part of a team dedicated to enhancing patient care and service delivery. You'll engage in a broad array of tasks, from general radiographic examinations to participating in shift rotas, including nights and weekends, across multiple sites, including the St. Peter's, Ashford, and Woking CDC once CT experience is garnered. Your role will embrace everything from training in specialised areas like CT and IR with full support for continual professional development, to contributing to the department’s quality assurance and service improvement initiatives, ensuring a safe, efficient, and caring working environment.

As a candidate, your excellent communication skills will shine as you liaise with consultants, nursing staff, and patients, providing comfort and professionalism even in stressful situations. You'll handle a variety of clients, including paediatrics, geriatrics, and those with physical and learning disabilities, adapting your approach to meet diverse needs. A knack for assessing and implementing appropriate diagnostic imaging procedures, alongside the capability to manage trauma calls within A&E settings, will be essential. Moreover, you'll stay attuned to technological advances by proficiently navigating the Radiology computer systems and contribute to a culture of continuous learning through staff training and development programmes.
