We are a high performing organisation with a trackrecord of success.Radiology is a busy department providing Xray, CT, MRI,Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound services for the Emergency department, In-patientsand Out-patients. We provide 24/7 diagnostic services to the hospital using high quality up-to-dateequipment.Candidates will work a combination of 7.5hour(5days per week) or 9.25hour shifts (4 days per week) including regular weekendworking.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be required to carry out avariety of duties within the Radiology department to assist radiographers,nurses and radiologists during procedures as required. Working as part of ateam is a necessity to ensure the day runs smoothly. They must be patientfocussed and be able to advocate for the patients if/when required.They will also need to be able to deal with telephoneenquiries from a variet of sources, prioritize their workload and workunsupervised when necessary.It is essential to have a good level of generaleducation and basic understanding of IT. Good communication, interpersonal andorganisational skills are also an essential requirement for this post.
